She earned a Law degree, and she majored in Constitutional Law. She has a Master degree in Administrative Law and experience in managerial positions and public management related to audit, tax and disciplinary responsibility, fight against corruption, state contracting, public policies and judicial protection of constitutional rights with an emphasis on project coordination and management.
She has wide experience in the public service, working, among other positions, as acting judge of the Constitutional Court, delegate Cross-sector comptroller of royalties to the Comptroller’s Office and director of the Office of Disciplinary Control to the Attorney General’s Office.
She also worked for the National Civil Registry, the Council of State and law firms.
Her studies have been focused on subjects such as the fight against corruption, legal reasoning, public management, audits and control systems. She was co-author of the so-called guide ‘Guía Proceso de Responsabilidad Fiscal’. Law 610 of 2000 and Law 1474 of 2011, published by the Comptroller’s Office.
