She holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. She majored in International Affairs at Universidad Externado de Colombia as per agreement with the School of International and Public Affairs of Columbia University in New York. She also received a Master in Administration from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
She has more than 14 years of experience in strategic planning and modernization of public entities and Higher Education Institutions. She worked as Head of the Planning Advisory Office and as Leader of processes in institutions attached to the Ministry of Labor (Ministerio de Trabajo) and the Ministry of Technologies and Communications (Ministerio de Tecnologías de la Información y las Comunicaciones). Likewise, she worked as an Advisor, Research Management Coordinator and Coordinator of Projects at Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She participated as EXPOPYME Coordinator for 6 years in several companies in the private sector in alliance with Universidad de Los Andes and PROEXPORT Colombia, currently PROCOLOMBIA.
She worked as a professor, researcher and lecturer in different universities of the country, as well as a trainer in public entities due to her wide experience in Organizational Development, in Administrative Efficiency, the Integrated Planning Model (Modelo Integrado de Planeación y Gestión – MIPG), Self-evaluation Processes of Programs and Institutional Accreditation, International Business and Internal Audit.
