Social Communication and Journalism from Universidad de la Sabana. She majored in Communication and Education, and she received a master’s degree in Political Studies from Universidad Pontificia Javeriana.
Regarding her work experience, her appointment as Communications Adviser to the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá from 2017 to 2019 stands out.
Likewise, within the public sector, she served as Press and Communications Adviser to the Mayor´s Office in Bogotá; Head of the Press and Communications Office of the Transport Secretariat (Secretaría Distrital de Movilidad); Communications Coordinator at the Integral Prevention Unit (Unidad Coordinadora de Prevención Integral UCPI in Spanish ) to the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá.
She was appointed as advisor to the Mayor´s Office of Bogotá (2016 -2017), to the Secretary of Mobility (2008 – 2012) and to the General Secretariat of the Mayor´s Office in Bogotá (2002 – 2008).
In the private sector, she worked as Director of Forums Diario La República, as a journalist at the Office of Communication and Media for the National Federation of Coffee Growers (Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia) and Deputy Director of newspaper Opción of Universidad de la Sabana.
She has more than 15 years of experience leading communications and press offices, drawing up and implementing strategies of communication, pedagogy, and conflict resolution; in the analysis of context, political actors and crisis management.
