As part of the strategy “Fiscalía en la Calle y en los Territorios”, the Attorney General Francisco Barbosa Delgado, visited Cali (Valle del Cauca) and announced the construction of a headquarters in that city which will be carried out by using own resources.
“The Attorney General of Colombia makes this commitment with the city that also deserves a special treatment in the framework of its location, as a node in the west area of the country”, he said.
The new building will have a capacity of 1,400 employees and will concentrate 13 headquarters that are currently distributed around the city.
During his visit to Valle del Cauca, Attorney General Barbosa Delgado went to different offices belonging to the institution and received first-hand information on criminal and social issues that affect citizens.
The Attorney General stated that efforts in order to clarify murders and thefts will be increased and likewise, he encouraged other authorities to work in a collaborative manner to this effect.
