The Office of the Attorney General and National Police arrested nine people who allegedly registered vehicles despite the fact that their origin was illegal.
Among the people arrested was the current government secretary in Ramiriquí (Boyacá), Carlos Fabián Ruiz Pulido, who apparently took advantage of the knowledge and contacts he acquired while serving as an employee in the Transit Secretariat of the same municipality in order to commit crimes.
Their arrest will be legalized before a guarantee judge (control de garantías) in Tunja who will charge them with criminal conspiracy and money laundering.
