The Attorney General’s Office brought Cristian Uriel Vinasco Ladino and Jhonny Andrés Castaño Vinasco before a judge in Tuluá (Valle del Cauca). They were allegedly found in possession of explosives and narcotics.
A prosecutor charged the alleged suspects with manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of weapons, accessories, and ammunition for private use, restricted to the security forces, as well as trafficking, manufacturing, and possession of narcotics.
During a search warrant conducted on May 9 in the La Moralia area, the defendants were arrested. These operations were carried out by officers from Gaula-National Police.
Authorities found two cans containing homemade explosives and detonating cord, among other items, at the scene. They also found glass and metal containers with marijuana, military supplies, and documents linking both men to Yair Bermúdez 57th Front.
Both alleged suspects must serve a prison sentence.
