Edilson Ordóñez Campo and Hugo Alejandro Torrijos Medina, Colombian citizens wanted by the United States justice with a view to extradition, were turned over to the Office of the Attorney General. 

Ordóñez Campo is required to appear in court before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas for crimes related to conspiracy to commit crimes and drug trafficking.

Torrijos Medina is requested by the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York for crimes related to criminal conspiracy and drug trafficking.

These two people were arrested in operations carried out by Dijin-National Police. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be informed about the aforementioned arrest so that the Ministry informs the Embassy of the United States in Bogotá and the extradition requests be submitted within the terms established by Law.
