Four alleged members of the criminal group La Línea accused of committing crimes in areas of the eastern part of Bolívar were prosecuted.
The people allegedly involved are: Xiomara Pacheco Robles, Esperanza Ruiz Robles, and Roberto Antonio Acuña Pacheco who were sent to prison for their alleged responsibility in the crime of aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime. For the same offense, John Freddy Rico Núñez, alias El Grasa, was placed under house arrest. None of them pleaded guilty to the charges.
The investigation indicates that the defendants were allegedly engaged in committing various crimes, including small-scale drug dealing in the municipalities of Villanueva, Santa Rosa, San Estanislao, Soplaviento, San Cristóbal, and Arjona.
The National Police arrested the defendants during three home searches carried out on January 23 in neighborhoods: El Bronx, Haití, and La Pradera in Villanueva (Bolívar) in compliance with judicial orders.
