Thanks to the evidence provided by the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Abraham Alfredo López Caballero, alias Mono Abraham, a suspected member of ‘Los Costeños’ for his alleged participation in the murder of a man. 

In this sense, a prosecutor charged him with aggravated homicide and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms, accessories, parts, or ammunition. He did not plead guilty to the charges. 

The judge´s decision is related to facts that took place on March 20, 2020, in Ferrocarril neighborhood in Soledad (Atlántico) when ‘Mono Abraham’ allegedly arrived at a terrace and, without getting a word out, he shot a 26-year-old man causing his death, and then he fled. 

This person was arrested during a search warrant conducted by the National Police in Bello (Antioquia). He must remain in a prison of this area of the country. 

This person is linked to other investigations for his alleged participation in the commission of criminal conspiracy, extortion, and other homicides.
