A prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Bolívar prosecuted three people who are allegedly responsible for the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, homicide, torture and qualified theft, all aggravated.
The people involved are Milena Patricia Zúñiga Pazo, alias La Flaca; Jesús David Montero Bravo, alias El Negrito; and José Sebastián Ospino Chamorro, alias Gordo Chang, who were arrested by the National Police in Cartagena and the municipality of Baranoa (Atlántico). None of the defendants pleaded guilty to the charges.
The facts under investigation took place on August 1, 2023 in the area known as Brisas de Libertad, Puertas de Hierro neighborhood of La Heroica, where the defendants, allegedly caused the death of a 17-year-old minor with blunt weapons whose body was dismembered. In addition, they injured a person who was accompanying the teenager.
Judicial police work shows that the victims were tortured and forced to transfer 870,000 COP to their bank accounts, and to hand over their cell phones and motorcycles.
The crime was ordered by José Carlos Correa Meza, alias El Chapu and René de Arcos Díaz from the San Sebastián Ternera prison in Cartagena who are brought before justice for these incidents.
Alias Negrito and alias Gordo Chang will serve their sentence in a prison by virtue of a court order, while alias La Flaca will continue her process in freedom.
