At the request of a prosecutor belonging to the Sectional Office in Magdalena Medio, José Farid Mendoza Guayara, an alleged member of the Los Búcaros criminal group and who would have threatened a social leader in Barrancabermeja, was sent to prison.

The facts occurred on July 22 in the Terrazas neighborhood where the defendant wou threaten and shot at Sandra Patricia Maza.

Apparently Mendoza Guayara held her responsible for the complaints made to the authorities for the sale of narcotics in the sector.

The man was arrested by the National Police on December 2. The Prosecutor’s Office charged him with threats against human rights defenders and public servants.
