The Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado; held a meeting in Barranquilla (Atlántico) with his counterpart in Spain, Dolores Delgado García, in order to continue the joint work in the fight against crime and impunity.
At the meeting, the two prosecutors recognized the judicial cooperation between the two countries and addressed the future perspectives of the Ibero-American Association of Public Ministries – Asociación Iberoamericana de Ministerios Públicos AIAMP – in which Spain is the General Secretary, and whose Annual Assembly will take place in Colombia in July.
For his part, the Attorney General Barbosa highlighted the work carried out by the institution regarding the Environmental Protection Network and the Asset Seizure Group of the AIAMP (Red de Protección Medioambiental y el Grupo de Extinción de Dominio y Decomiso de la AIAMP) in which protocols and guides are being developed to strengthen the tools of cooperation between the member countries of the Association.
