The rate of clarification of cases of domestic violence in that department also increased by 36 points.

 In Valledupar (Cesar), the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado revealed the results obtained during this year by the Sectional Office in Cesar regarding the progress in solving femicides and cases of domestic violence in that department, in which the indicators reached 100 % and 43%, respectively.

“It is important to highlight the commitment and great work done in regard to the protection and defense of women’s rights in the department. Here in Cesar, one hundred percent of femicides have been solved so far in 2021” stated the Attorney General.

Likewise, the legal actions carried out by the Attorney General´s Office have increased the clarification of criminal acts that threaten the integrity of women at their homes by 36 percentage points. The clarification of processes on domestic violence increased from 7% to 43%.

“This result has been achieved thanks to the innovation of the investigative strategies and to the joint work with civil society, especially with the academic sector, in which hundreds of students in the country are also working hand in hand with the Office of the Attorney General”, stated the Attorney General Barbosa
