Once the Sectional office of Atlántico belonging to the Office of the Attorney General became aware of the facts, it began to collect information related to the alleged case of violence against animals in an establishment located in the city of Barranquilla and ordered the opening of an investigation to find out what happened in that place and to determine who was responsible.
The case is related to videos, photographs and complaints filed by citizens in which alleged acts of aggression against two cats were described.
A team of investigators belonging to Special Group fighting against Animal Abuse (Grupo Especial para la Lucha contra el Maltrato Animal (Gelma)) will be in charge of obtaining the information and transferring it for its analysis within the framework of the Law Against Animal Abuse.
