‘’Members of the central command of ELN will answer as perpetrators of the attack committed against the National Police academy”: Attorney General

The Office of the Attorney General and National Police arrested Ricardo Andrés Carvajal Salgar who must face charges for the crimes of terrorism and aggravated murder.

The Office of the Attorney General, with the aid of the National Police and judicial authorities, clarified with total certainty that the author of the attack against the academy of the National Police was the guerrilla of the so-called National Liberation Army (ELN in spanish).

As a result of investigations, the perpetrator of the attack was identified as José Ademar Rojas Rodríguez. According to intelligence reports he was member of Domingo Laín ELN´s column for more than 33 years. Currently, he is part of the urban cells of guerrilla in the city.
