Members of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI), with support from Immigration authorities from Colombia and Ecuador, as well as the National Police, arrested both men who are wanted to serve sentences for robbery and aggravated and qualified robbery committed in Ipiales and Pasto (Nariño). 

One of them is Diego Armando Guzmán who is wanted by a judge in Neiva (Huila) to serve an 18-month prison sentence for the crime of aggravated robbery. His arrest took place on August 8 in the Gólgota neighborhood of Ipiales. 

In another operation in Pasto, CTI of the Attorney General’s Office and the National Police arrested Maiker Nicolás Romero Cardona on August 16, who is wanted to serve a 15-month prison sentence for qualified robbery. The victims of the crimes were two minors. 

In both cases, the judges approved the arrest procedures.
