During the relationship, several acts of physical, psychological, and verbal violence occurred against the victim.
The Attorney General’s Office brought Obdulio Wandurraga Romero before a judge in Landázuri (Santander). He was allegedly responsible for causing the death of his former sentimental partner, with whom he had a 6-year relationship.
The crime occurred on May 25 in Plan de Armas of the municipality of Landázuri. There, in the midst of a discussion, the woman was attacked multiple times with a sharp weapon. The defendant was charged with aggravated femicide, but he did not plead guilty. The man injured himself after he saw that the victim was not alive.
At the request of the Prosecutor’s Office, the judge sentenced the defendant to prison.
