The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office allowed the prosecution of eight alleged members of the criminal group called ‘Los Hoteleros’ who would be involved in drug dealing in Pasto (Nariño).
The people involved are Edison Maso Hincapié, Carlos Andrés Calpa, Cindy Carolina González Luna, Danny Segundo Pastas Santacruz, Kevin Esteban Obando Patiño, Miguel Eduardo Acosta Ante, Danny Alexander Ordoñez Meneses and Manuel Antonio Quiñonez Landázuri who were charged by a prosecutor of the Support Structure (Estructura de Apoyo EDA) for the crime of manufacturing, trafficking and possession of narcotics.
According to the investigation, these people apparently used a hotel as a facade in El Progreso neighborhood for the sale and consumption of different kinds of narcotics.
These people were arrested in a home search carried out by Sijín of Police. During the operation, doses of marijuana, cocaine and bazuco ready to be sold were seized.
Six of the defendants were sentenced to prison. For their part, Maso Hincapié and Calpa will continue to be linked to the investigation.
