The Attorney General’s Office dealt a hard blow to the criminal group known as Los Crack, since seven of its alleged members who would be selling narcotics in Pamplona and Chitagá (Norte de Santander) were arrested.
The defendants were arrested in nine search and seizure operations carried out in Pamplona and Chitagá (Norte de Santander), by officers of the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI), the Army and National Police.
The people allegedly involved are: Franklin Gregorio Figueroa García, alias Gorras; Yerlin Nazareth Reina Rojas, alias Maracucha; Jonathan Ferney Peréz Cruz, alias Menor; Edgar Capacho Gamboa, alias Capacho; Víctor Antonio Valencia Calderón, alias Manakele; Maryuri Esperanza Rincón Villamizar, alias Maryuri; and Yamid Sebastián Gambo Rodríguez.
A prosecutor appointed to the sectional Office in Santander charged them with trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics.
The investigation established that these people apparently sold narcotic substances through home delivery or street trading near the parks and educational institutions in these municipalities.
During the operations, one kilo of marijuana, 280 grams of cocaine, 5 cell phones of different brands, a traumatic pistol and cash were seized.
The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges, and a judge imposed a prison sentence.
