A prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Bolívar brought Fernando Salguedo Cabeza, alias El Flauta, before a judge. He is an alleged member of the ‘Clan del Golfo’ investigated for the alleged commission of manufacturing, trafficking or possession of a firearm for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.

Investigations showed that a man allegedly linked to hitmen actions committed in said population and surrounding municipalities lived in a property located in El Rosario neighborhood, in the municipality of Turbaco (Bolívar). The defendant was arrested during a search warrant carried out by the National Police. During the proceeding, a firearm and ammunition for the exclusive use of the Public Force were seized.

Alias ​​El Flauta denied his responsibility for the charges that were brought by the Office of the Attorney General. He was sent to San Sebastián Ternera prison in Cartagena.
