Prosecutors belonging to the sectional Office in Bolívar brought, in different proceedings, two men who, according to their individual responsibilities, would be responsible for the crimes of aggravated homicide and manufacture, trafficking or possession of a firearm.
The first investigation is related to a 37-year-old man who allegedly caused injuries to his stepson with a blunt object. Facts took place in Altos de Plan Parejo neighborhood in the municipality of Turbaco (Bolívar) on August 25th.
The young man, 22, died in a health center where he was transferred due to the severity of his injuries. The arrest was carried out by the National Police and his confinement will take place in the San Sebastián Ternera prison in Cartagena.
Kevin Alfonso Guerrero Ángulo, allegedly responsible for a homicide that took place on March 9 in the Chiquinquirá neighborhood in Bolívar, was arrested for other facts. The person involved, apparently, repeatedly shot the owner of a fast food business, 39, who was sitting at the door of his establishment.
Guerrero Angulo was informed about his arrest while being in Bellavista temporary detention center in La Heroica for another case.
The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges brought against them.
