Investigations carried out by the Attorney General’s Office allowed the arrest and prosecution of eight alleged members of the Thanos criminal network that would be involved in local drug trafficking in the municipality of Santa Rosa de Cabal (Risaralda).
According to the investigation, from 2023 these people would be involved in the small-scale drug dealing of marijuana, bazooka and coca base and would be involved in the sale of these substances through mobile or fixed sales in the aforementioned municipality.
People who are investigated would have interference in the sector known as La Horqueta, near educational institutions, as well as places used for recreation and sports by the inhabitants of the municipality.
A prosecutor assigned to the Sectional Office in Risaralda charged the eight defendants with criminal conspiracy, trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotics. They did not plead guilty to the charges. A judge imposed a prison sentence.
The decision involved Carlos Alberto Villa Villa, alias Carlos; Franklin Steven Duque Valencia, alias El Negro; Yeison David Camacho Londono, alias Yeison; Pablo Alexander Bonilla Gaviria, alias Pablo; Yohan Mauricio Londoño Correa, alias Yohan; Sebastián Rendón Restrepo, alias Cambindo; Julián David Montoya Osorio, alias Juli and José Julián Loaiza Cardona, alias Flaco.
