‘Combo de la Viuda’ group concealed narcotics in garbage and trees to evade authorities’ control
At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge sentenced 12 alleged members of a criminal group known as El Combo de la Viuda involved in local drug trafficking in El Centro, La Caraguaja, and Los Almendros neighborhoods in Campoalegre (Huila).
National Police officers arrested these individuals during a search warrant. A prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Huila (Seccional Huila) charged them with aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime and trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics. Likewise, doses of bazuco, cocaine, marijuana, and more than 20 million COP in cash were seized.
The Office of the Attorney General found that these individuals apparently concealed the substances in plastic bags, which they hid in their private parts, in garbage cans, and under trees, as a way to evade authorities’ control.
The decision involved: Jhon Fredy Fierro Galindo, Yeison Andrés Fierro Osorio, Yesenia Perdomo, Jorge Horacio Trujillo Hernández, Julián Fernelly Rojas Liscano, Fabián Camilo Pastrana Ocampo, Jesús David Uní García, Maicol Andrés Trujillo Lemus, Esperanza Leiva Silva, José Luis Chica Rojas, and brothers Víctor Joaquín and Jhordan Alexis Alarcón Perdomo; Fierro Osorio, Trujillo Hernández and brothers Alarcón Perdomo.
Fierro Osorio, Trujillo Hernández, and brothers Alarcón Perdomo pleaded guilty to the charges brought by the Office of the Attorney General.
