At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against Juan José Ospina Ramírez, alias La Píldora, who would be a member of the criminal group ‘Los Hefestos’ which received a hard blow in November 2023.
The investigations revealed that the defendant would be a promoter of small-scale drug dealing in the so-called Travesuras de Pereira neighborhood (Risaralda) where he allegedly controlled the sale of marijuana and other narcotics.
A prosecutor from the Sectional Office in Risaralda charged him with conspiracy to commit a crime; trafficking, manufacture and possession of narcotics. The defendant did not plead guilty to the charges.
Ospina Ramírez was arrested by Sijín- National Police in a public establishment in Pereira.
