The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted Jaider Enrique Jiménez Cantillo, alias Jaider; Hernán Jiménez Torres, alias Hernán; and Ricardo de Jesús Castillo Mejía, alias El Ojos, as allegedly responsible for the crime of aggravated robbery.
According to the investigations, those people that were prosecuted, apparently, would be part of the criminal group Los Africanos, involved in several thefts and motorcycles in the neighborhoods of El Centro, San Martin, Barbosa and El Paraíso in Codazzi (Cesar).
One of the events took place on October 11, 2022, in El Centro neighborhood, where according to the information provided by one of the victims, the victim was intimidated by two people, who were in possession of a firearm and stole the car, a briefcase and a cell phone.
The arrest was carried out by Police and the National Army in Codazzi on October 1st.
In a hearing, a judge issued a prison sentence against Jiménez Cantillo and Jiménez Torres.
For his part, alias El Ojos was notified in prison where he remains due to the commission of other crimes.
