At the request of a prosecutor of the Sectional Office in Risaralda, four people were sent to prison and one more must serve home imprisonment as alleged perpetrators of crimes related to drug trafficking.
The alleged members are Luz Mary Rodríguez Blandón, alias Mary; Cesar Augusto Cruz Abad, alias Cesar; José Luis Marín Vásquez, alias Charly; Angie Valentina Rendón Forigua, alias Valen or La Chama and Johana Paola Sanguino, alias La Flaca. All of them were arrested by the National Police in-home search proceedings.
According to the investigation, the defendants would be members of the Orión organization that is involved in selling bazuco in the sector known as ‘Los Puentes’ neighborhood La Paz and Corocito in the city of Pereira.
According to their individual responsibilities, the defendants were charged with the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, trafficking in the manufacture or possession of narcotics, and favoring escape.
None of the defendants pleaded guilty to the charges.
