At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, Andrés Felipe Aragón Robayo was sent to prison for being allegedly responsible for having attacked Claudia Hernández Reina with a knife. The facts occurred in October 2020 in the Villacodem neighborhood in Villavicencio (Meta).
According to the investigation, on the day of the facts, the alleged aggressor arrived at the victim´s house. Upon arriving and after knocking on the door, Aragón wounded the woman seven times.
After being identified and located, CTI investigators of the Prosecutor’s Office, supported by National Police and accompanied by soldiers from the Albán Battalion of the Seventh Brigade of the National Army, arrested the suspect by virtue of a court order in a commercial establishment in Puerto López (Meta).
The Prosecutor’s Office charged Aragón Robayo with attempted aggravated femicide. He did not plead guilty.
