At the request of a  prosecutor of the Sectional Office in the Valle del Cauca, a judge issued a prison sentence against 10 alleged members of the ‘Los Caninos’ gang.

The ‘ evidence collected, such as several videos and follow-ups,  allowed to establish the way in which the criminal network collected, and sold marijuana, bazuco, and cocaine in neighborhoods of Caicedonia like Obrero, Gutiérrez, and Aragón.

Nine home searches carried out by Sijin officers allowed the arrest of 10 alleged members of the illegal organization; and the seizure of different amounts of marijuana, bazuco, and cash.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged the defendants as allegedly responsible for the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, manufacturing, trafficking, and possession of narcotics, and illicit use of real estate. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges.
