Derby Adolfo Narváez Castro was charged by the Attorney General’s Office with aggravated trafficking, manufacturing, and possession of narcotics and a home security measure was imposed on him.
Derby Adolfo Narvaez Castro was discovered in flagrante delicto apparently transporting more than 100 kilos of coca base.
The events that led to his prosecution occurred in a gas station, kilometer 3, Florencia-Morelia road (Caquetá) when the authorities discovered that the truck in which he was transporting cattle had 113 kilos of coca base that was camouflaged.
This result was achieved thanks to information given to the authorities, which revealed that a vehicle that transported livestock, coming from the south of the department, had the narcotic substance.
This way, CTI members of the Criminal Analysis Section of the Prosecutor’s Office, members of the National Police of the Anti-narcotics group and the National Army traveled to discover the cache that was packed in 129 rectangular packages on the floor of the truck, hidden between coaldust used to clean the cattle.
Narváez Castro did not plead guilty to the charges.
