The Delegate Director on Public Safety, Carmen Torres Malaver, verified the investigative progress of the solving of the crime with a team of prosecutors and judicial police officers.

The Office of the Attorney General continues with the investigative work to find those responsible for the murder of five minors, between the ages of 13 and 16, which took place on August 11 in a sugar cane field in Llano Verde neighborhood, in Cali (Valle del Cauca). 

At the request of the Attorney General, Francisco Barbosa Delgado, a team of prosecutors, investigators and  experts in criminalistics of the Technical Investigative Corps (Cuerpo  Técnico  de  Investigación – CTI  in  Spanish) and the National Police, judicial police activities have been carried out. This joint work supported by drones and forensic technology equipment has allowed the team to obtain important evidence material. 

The Delegate Director on Public Safety, Carmen Torres Malaver, had a meeting with this inter-institutional team in order to carry out an exhaustive assessment of what has been collected and to assign new tasks.
