Members of the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) of the Office of the Attorney General arrested Alberto Durán Blanco in order to serve a 30-year prison sentence which was pronounced on April 4, 2019 by the Second Criminal Court of the Circuit in Ocaña (Norte de Santander).
Durán Blanco, aka Barraquilla, was charged with aggravated murder, forced disappearance, co-author of massacre in Cerro Rendondo in Aguachica (Cesar) which took place on February 6, 2000 by the Self-Defense Forces of Colombia south area of Cesar. Five (5) people were killed that day after being accused of being guerrilla´s collaborators.
