The Special Investigation Unit (Unidad Especial de Investigación UEI in Spanish) of the Office of the Attorney General continues in its efforts to clarify crimes related to demobilized members of former FARC guerrillas and against social leaders.
In this sense, on January 17, the UEI, in a joint operation with National Navy in Tumaco arrested Jhon Jamer Cuenu, aka ‘Culo’ or ‘JJ’.
The investigations carried out by the Special Unit allowed to establish that Jamer Cuenu would be the ringleader of the Guerrillas (Guerrillas Unidas del Pacífico) criminal structure also known as ‘Los contadores’.
