The Office of the Attorney General and National Police arrested six people who would be part of an organization that illegally circulated and altered about 150 million medicines and dietary products.
Investigations and operations carried out by the Office of the Attorney General and National Police, through the Customs Police, affected an illicit market that grows in social networks and puts the athletes’ health and life at risk, and those from people who are looking for losing weight or improving their physical appearance.
As a result of seven home searches carried out simultaneously in Bogotá, Medellín and Cali, six alleged members of a criminal organization accused of smuggling, counterfeiting and selling medicines, dietary and anabolic supplements, among other products, were arrested.
