The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted Jhovan Stiver Rojas Méndez for allegedly transporting 79.7 kilos of marijuana within the municipality of San Pedro (Valle del Cauca).
A prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Valle del Cauca (Seccional Valle del Cauca) charged Rojas Méndez with manufacturing, trafficking, or possession of narcotics. The suspect was arrested by the National Police and was arrested in fragrant on September 13 near the Betania toll booth.
The events under investigation took place during a police inspection when 30 rectangular and cylindrical packages wrapped in tape were found in the boot of a vehicle. According to a preliminary chemical analysis, the package had marijuana, with a net weight of 79.7 kilos.
The alleged suspect was sent to prison.
