At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence against a woman for her alleged responsibility in the violent death of her 55-year old sentimental partner in El Rosal (Cundinamarca).
In this regard, a prosecutor appointed to the branch office in Cundinamarca (Seccional Cundinamarca) charged her with aggravated homicide. She did not plead guilty to the charges.
According to the investigation, the facts took place on June 29 in the Bachué neighborhood during a fight on the street. The crime took place since the defendant apparently took advantage of the victim’s defenseless state and beat him in the head with a rock, causing his death.
The 31-year-old woman was arrested in fragrant by the National Police when she fled the scene.
