After assessing the evidence provided by the Attorney General’s Office, a judge imposed a prison sentence on Cristian Javier Otero Buelvas.
A prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in San Andrés charged the 19-year-old man with manufacturing, trafficking and possession of weapons, ammunition for restricted use, for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces or explosives. He did not plead guilty.
The facts took place on January 14, when National Police officers arrested Otero Buelvas in flagrante delicto during a home search in Morrislanding neighborhood, with a rifle for the exclusive use of the Public Force.
The man did not have a permit from the competent authority to possess said weapon.
