The Attorney General’s Office brought Giovany Arnulfo Moreno Moreno to justice for being allegedly responsible for trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of narcotics. The man was arrested in coordination with the National Police during a search warrant conducted in Arauca on May 4.
The investigations revealed the alleged participation of the defendant in the local sale of hallucinogenic substances in Caldas neighborhood and Los Güires sector of this city.
In the operation conducted at the so-called Flor de mi Llano neighborhood, 13 kilos of marijuana and 15 grams of cocaine, substances ready for sale, were seized.
During the concentrated hearings (audiencias concentradas), the defendant did not plead guilty and was sentenced to imprisonment.
