The Office of the Attorney General charged Orlando Arciniegas Lagos, former legal advisor for the Major´s Office In the city of Ibagué (2015) for undue interest in the execution of contracts and extortion.
This process is related to new facts that would have been derived from irregularities detected by CTI experts of the Office of the Attorney General (anti-corruption group) who have been closely following the macro investigation related to embezzlement in National Games. For these same facts, the defendant had already been convicted.
The Office of the Attorney General through a sectional office assigned to the Unit of Public Administration of the Sectional Office in Tolima took immediate action before the 8th Municipal Court with guarantee functions (control de garantias in spanish) since experts of the Technical Corps of Investigation (CTI) detected several irregularities committed during the execution of Contract 119 on April 17, 2015.
