The Attorney General’s Office brought Lucy Stella Sánchez Montaño, alias Johana, 24, before a judge in La Unión (Valle del Cauca), as the alleged responsible for the crime of procuring a minor under 14 years old.
Evidence collected by the Technical Investigation Corps (Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación CTI) indicates that in June 2024, the defendant allegedly offered a 13-year-old girl a job for domestic service on a farm in the aforementioned municipality.
The Office of the Attorney General found that the victim was deceived into going to the municipality of Barbacóas (Nariño) and then to La Unión, where she was forced to have sex with several men. It was also determined that she was threatened for refusing to be subjected to various forms of humiliation.
The Office of the Attorney General established that alias Johana allegedly charged people who came to the bars and sought to have intimate relations with the young woman, different sums of money.
Sánchez Montaño was arrested by CTI officers on March 23 in Toro (Valle del Cauca). The defendant, who did not plead guilty to the charges, must serve a sentence in prison.
