At the request of the Office of the Attorney General, a judge imposed a prison sentence on Constantino Leguizamo Linares, as the person allegedly responsible for participating in the murder of a man in Tame (Arauca). For this reason, a sectional prosecutor charged him with aggravated homicide. The defendant pleaded guilty.
Judicial police work showed that on September 14, 2013, several people were gathered in a commercial establishment where a fight took place. In the middle of an argument, Leguizamo Linares allegedly attacked another man with a knife, who died hours later in a hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
Officers from the Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) and members of the National Police arrested the defendant on October 18 in Yopal (Casanare).
