Vistorio Rojas Banuvi, Luis Iver Martínez Córdoba and Jarinzo Bailarín Curupia were sentenced to 21 years in prison by a judge in Quibdó (Chocó), who found them responsible for the crime of aggravated manufacture, trafficking or illegal possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the Military Forces.

A prosecutor appointed to the Sectional Office in Chocó proved that these people were arrested when they had in their possession a rifle with its magazine, 100 cartridges of 7.62 caliber, a 5.56 pistol with 28 cartridges, 2 communication radios and 4 cell phones, a GPS, a butt of shotgun, a rifle trigger, 5 hammocks and a vest.

The three men were arrested on May 5, 2020 in Bahía Solano (Chocó). The Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that all of them belonged to the ELN illegal armed group 

The court’s decision orders that they must serve their sentence in prison.
