After approving the request made by the Attorney General’s Office, a prison sentence was issued by a judge against two men for their alleged responsibility in the crime of qualified and aggravated theft.

The people involved are: Jhon Jairo Porras and Geiller Duver Gómez Duarte Carrillo, who did not plead guilty.

The investigations show that the defendants allegedly entered a house located in the Ospina Pérez neighborhood on August 9 violently. Then, they used knives to threaten one of the residents in order to hand his motorcycle over and they fled the scene on the vehicle.

The neighbors warned the authorities, who arrested the defendants in flagrante delicto in Antonia Santos neighborhood and the motorcycle was recovered.

The two men were sent to La Modelo prison in Cúcuta to serve a sentence.
