At the request of prosecutors appointed to the so-called Unidad de Vida (Life Unit) of the Sectional Office in Bolivar and in independent investigations, prison sentences were issued against three men who, according to their individual responsibilities, were charged with aggravated homicide, attempted homicide and manufacture, trafficking or possession of a firearm.
One of the facts took place on January 7 in a fight that took place in the municipality of Zambrano while another case, where hitmen were hired, took place on August 7 in Cartagena.
The decisions involved: Camilo Andrés Guerrero Larios, 21; Jonathan Rafael Salazar Guerrero, 22, who, after buying a bottle of liquor, allegedly attacked with a sharp weapon a friend who was hanging out with them at a restaurant in Zambrano. The victim, 22, died while being taken to a medical center.
Meanwhile, Rodolfo Matos Muñoz was prosecuted for allegedly shooting two people from a motorcycle in Las Lomas sector in Junín neighborhood in Cartagena. A 34-year-old man died as a result of the attack, and a 27-year-old man was injured.
The defendants were arrested by the National Police and did not plead guilty to the charges brought against them. These people will be sent to San Sebastián Ternera prison in Cartagena.
