The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted three men who would be involved in acts of domestic violence in Andalucía and Tuluá (Valle del Cauca). The victims were a mother, a brother, a sentimental partner and a former partner.
The defendants were arrested on July 15 in different judicial proceedings carried out by the Technical Investigation Corps (CTI) and the National Police.
Faber Alberto López López who, on repeated times, allegedly verbally and psychologically attacked his partner was prosecuted in Andalucia. He allegedly threatened her with a sharp weapon and with throwing her a grenade.

In this same municipality, Gilberto Antonio Cárdenas Zapata was prosecuted for his alleged responsibility in attacking and threatening his former-partner, whom he also harassed on social networks and by phone. The investigation determined that the man entered the victim’s house to take valuable objects.
In all three cases, prosecutors from the Sectional Office in Valle del Cauca charged them with domestic violence and judges imposed prison sentences against them.
