At the request of a prosecutor belonging to the sectional Office in Aguadas (Caldas), a judge imposed a prison sentence on Gustavo Alberto Muñoz Toro, alias El Grande, allegedly involved in the homicide of a man, on July 7th 2023.
The facts took place in a commercial establishment in Suburbio neighborhood of Aguadas (Caldas) where the victim was chatting with several people. At that moment, Muñoz Toro allegedly shot the victim several times, causing his death.
Apparently, this homicide occurred due to disputes between criminal gangs that were fighting for territorial control of the drug trade.
The Prosecutor’s Office charged the defendant with homicide and manufacture, trafficking, possession of firearms. ‘El Grande’ did not plead guilty to the charges.
