The Attorney General’s Office, in joint work with Sijin of National Police, prosecuted seven alleged members of two criminal groups who would be involved in several robberies that occurred between 2019 and the date of the arrests in Neiva and Pitalito (Huila).
- ‘Los Nenes’
A judge imposed a prison sentence against Jhon Faiver Cruz, Fabio Nelson Pérez, Juan Camilo Perdomo, and house arrest against Daniel Felipe Zapata, after being considered as possible members of the Los Nenes criminal structure. Apparently, they would be involved in several robberies committed in Villa Ferry, Eduardo Santos and Alberto Galindo neighborhoods of the so-called Comuna 9 in Neiva.
The defendants allegedly participated in at least 14 robberies in which firearms and sharp objects were used. The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with qualified and aggravated robbery. They did not plead guilty.
‘The Pastusos’
Alexander Zamora Perdomo, Nelson Javier Chacón Sunce and Jesús Perdomo were sent to prison. The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with aggravated robbery due to their alleged involvement in thefts committed in Neiva and Pitalito. For this purpose, they used the method of deception using lottery tickets. The main victims were women and elderly people.
Also, they allegedly committed crimes in Cali, Pereira and Ibagué. The defendants did not plead guilty to the charges.
