The Attorney General’s Office prosecuted two men wanted by the authorities for their alleged responsibility in the commission of criminal activities in Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca).
Carlos Andrés Guerrero González, alias Cholera, was arrested at a police checkpoint in the so-called Modelo neighborhood. After being identified, the authorities found that he appears as one of the 20 most wanted. ‘Cholera’ was fugitive since October 2023, after escaping from a temporary detention center where he was held for the crime of extortion.
In another action, the National Police arrested Pedro Valencia Cárdenas when he was preparing to board a vehicle towards Cali. The officers verified that the defendant was under a home detention measure for the crime of aggravated theft. At the time of his arrest, he did not have a legal permit to leave the residence.
