The evidence collected by the Attorney General’s Office allowed a judge to send Johiner Alejandro Hernández Pérez, alias El Negro, to prison. He is allegedly responsible for a homicide committed on February 10 in El Copey (Cesar).
The crime took place in the Puente Quemao, a rural area of this municipality, where the victim and his brother suffered an accident that caused their vehicle to overturn.
Apparently, they were approached by two people, one of them would be Hernández Pérez. Both brothers were shot. One of them died and the other one was seriously injured in the head.
‘El Negro’ was arrested in Bogotá (Cundinamarca) by Technical Investigative Corps (CTI) in coordination with Gaula- National Police.
A prosecutor of the Sectional Office in Cesar charged the defendant with aggravated homicide, attempted homicide and manufacturing, trafficking and possession of firearms or ammunition.
Due to these same events, the Prosecutor’s Office also managed to send José Gregorio Hurtado Berdugo, alias Gregorio, to prison as was arrested in Medellín (Antioquia).
