The defendants were arrested minutes after the attack on the victim, who was at his home in Sincelejo.

After the evidence was exhibited by a sectional prosecutor, a judge decided to approve the request of sending José Joaquín Jaraba Oviedo and Ronaldo Enrique Zubiría Méndez to prison for the crime of aggravated homicidE, trafficking, manufacturing, or possession of weapons or ammunition.

Within the process it was established that the accused, apparently, would be responsible for the attack with a firearm against Michael Arrollo Benítez, on January 24, in Sincelejo.

According to information collected, the defendants were waiting for the victim to leave his house and when he opened the door to go out, they began to shoot him several times.

After carrying out the homicide, they fled on foot to a block where they had left the motorcycle on which they left the scene.

Due to the injuries, the victim died minutes after the attack at  the Hospital where he was transferred.
