The Sectional Office in Casanare charged Orlando Castillo Rivera as allegedly responsible for the crimes of homicide, attempted homicide and illegal possession of weapons.

The facts occurred on September 18 in La Esperanza neighborhood of the municipality of Maní (Casanare), when the defendant arrived at the residence of a man and after talking with him for a few minutes, he shot him with a firearm causing his death.

According to the evidence presented by the Prosecutor´s Offcie Castillo Rivera arrived at the place on a motorcycle, in which he fled.

The arrested man was brought before a judge who approved the Prosecutor’s Office´s request, legalized his arrest and issued a prison sentence against him.

The Office of the Attorney General makes this information public for reasons of general interest.
